Over the weekend and up till today’s artwork, I’ve been using just these watercolour pencils to draw and colour. Why?
I want minimal prep, minimal tools, and no cleaning up.
I want to un-see what I see and to see something new. Using green colour for trees is logical. This is what I see in front of me. But, I only have limited primary colours from the three colour pencils I have. And to me, it’s a good thing. What an opportunity to unlearn and relearn.
By working with limitations, I am using constraints to break constraints.
I’m happy with today’s progress. Pat on the back.
