Meet Baloo.
Baloo would gaily speed walk every morning, tail high and confident, towards the neighbourhood supermarket, his owner pushing his baby in a pram, tailing behind him. After they have completed their daily shopping, I would see Baloo being the one tailing behind its owner. It stops here and there to explore and sniff the world, its pace calm and steady. No hurry.
Baloo doesn’t know that just by being him, he’s putting a smile on someone’s sadness.
Baloo is my little joyful moments’ bearer. My “I’m not ok but by golly, I will learn to live as best as I can” moment.
Thank you, Baloo.
(Baloo is also not his real name. Because I only manage to enjoy seeing Baloo afar from my apartment window. A mini-event my husband and I look forward to every morning. We named him “Baloo” because of his easygoing, loyal, good-natured manner.)

Regarding Love
How do I love with a soft heart?
Yet, is there any other way to love?
note: wrote this during my metro commute. another of my inner monologues.
