felt compelled to post the drawing of the day after all

It’s Sunday night in Porto. Good evening, good morning, good night, wherever you are.

Yesterday, I mentioned ¹I was thinking of not posting on Sundays (Sabbath/rest, digital detox), but today’s process of creating somehow made me feel compelled to do it.

Today’s artwork was accompanied by this song on loop, “Worthy of It All” by Cece Winans; praising the Creator as I drew and painted. Then, I celebrated and rejoiced in the completion of the artwork, savouring the fruit, and doing a little dance around the studio with this song, “A God Like You” by Kirk Franklin (c’mon, bop those shoulders now). And now writing this to you, wrapping the night on my side (Portugal time) with this song, “Redeemer” by Nicole C. Mullen. Songs linked are on Apple Music.

1. Having said that, I’m not dropping this idea of not posting on Sundays. Still weighing the decision. :)
