HopeMail #146
I’ve written a poem for you.
Hello there, readers old & new,
For whatever reason you’ve signed up for HopeMail—I thank you.
It’s been six good years of writing
sharing parts of my personal life
making some new friends too.
I now want to write more1
about the art I’m making
and the person making the art.
What inspires me
what I’m learning, discovering, exploring;
the heart in my art.
If this isn’t what you’ve signed up for,
alas, this is where we part.

All artworks are on sale.
The exhibition will be on until 4th March 2023. Tuesday- Sunday, 11 am - 6 pm. If you are in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, it’s free to walk in without an appointment.

Life.
As a handful of you may know, or guessed from my previous post, my husband and I are back in Malaysia from Portugal. Indefinitely. Mostly due to family and, now, health reasons.
I still don’t feel like explaining much. But, one of the reasons regarding health is, my husband’s lymphoma has some changes (the tumour increased in size and caused problems) and treatment is needed.
We are praying for what’s the best step to take and we are thankful we have friends praying for us—both in Malaysia and Portugal. What a blessing!
Thanks for reading, and thanks for being here. You can always reply to this email or leave a comment.

I send the emails about 1-2 times a month.
About unsubscribing—at any point, you no longer want to receive my newsletter, please unsubscribe. Please don’t use some app to auto-delete, or leave my emails unopened for months. Not only it doesn’t serve both of us, but it also affects how email software people like Gmail treat my email—they will see it as spam and my emails won’t be delivered to people who want to read them. I don’t check nor opt to receive notifications of unsubscribes, so, please don’t feel awkward about it. Life is short, and our phases of life change, if you no longer want to read my writings, please go read something you love and relatable to you.
Welcome in Portuguese.
Congratulations for your drawing being selected for the exhibition. It is definitely a beginning. Glad to hear that you came back to Malaysia.
Congrats on your art show and every good thought for your family. Loved the poem. ❤️
